France vs Argentina
France vs. Argentina. Mbappe vs. Messi.
The story lines are endless - and the beautiful game has already provided.
To start, France has the opportunity to become the first back to back
champions since Brazil won in both 1958 and 1962.
In the case of Argentina - most story lines point to Messi - as this is his
last chance to win the biggest trophy in the sport (and it’s fair criticism)
but, Argentina haven’t won since 1986. For a country that is prideful of its’
soccer history, that is a long time to say the least. This final provides a match
up between two proud soccer countries and squads with a lot of quality.
X Factor: Although it is easy to mention the 2 names from the beginning of this
article, I am focused on the health of the French team.
According to multiple sources, the French team has been dealing with illnesses
with key players such as Ibrahima Konate, Raphael Varane and Kingsley Coman
not up to par health wise. This will be a major deciding factor in this match
because it is fair to say that even if they do play, they will not be 100%.
Prediction: Argentina 2-1.
I believe Argentina will provide slightly more quality in this match up
as Messi and company edge out the victory.
