NFL Week 15
We have reached the first week of the fantasy playoffs! For those who play, best of luck to all of you that made the playoffs. I personally made the playoffs in three out of four leagues, so this will be a fun weekend!
As we enter the final quarter of the season, it’s important to take stock of where teams are in the standings, as they will often make decisions in the best interest of the franchise that contradicts what makes the most sense from a betting perspective.
With all teams playing again this week, let’s look at the top plays.
Spreads+Totals (1-2 last week, 19-23 for the year)
1. Chiefs and Vikings ML Parlay (-112): The Vikings and Chiefs have juicy matchups this week against two franchises that can only hope to reach relevancy in the near future. Mahomes and Darnold will not let their teams choke with playoff seeding on the line.
2. Steelers/Eagles under 43.5 (-120): These are two strong defensive teams looking to duke it out in the trenches. Each has a strong ground attack, and Tomlin will have his team prepared mentally for a grind it out game with a field goal likely being the deciding factor.
3. Bengals/Titans over 46.5 (-110): At this point, Burrow is on such a roll that he and the Bengals offense could pass this total on their own. But throw in the Bengals porous defense to the mix and this has all the makings of another game where both teams are in the 30s.
Props (2-1 last week, 27-15 for the year)
1. Brian Robinson over 79.5 rushing yards (-110): Robinson has a juicy matchup against the Saints this week and no competition for carries with Ekeler out. As big favorites, I expect Robinson to have plenty of opportunity to soar over this total.
2. Chuba Hubbard over 100.5 rushing and receiving (-118): Chuba was featured last week because he was ceding work to Brooks, but now Brooks is out with another ACL. Without any competition for carries, Hubbard ran all over the stout Eagles defense. Now he gets the soft Cowboys D, making this total seemingly guaranteed.
3. Zach Charbonnet over 95.5 rushing and receiving (-114): In case you missed it last week, Charbonnet got the start in place of the injured Walker and proceeded to have one of the most dynamic games by a running back this season. Walker is listed as doubtful against the Packers, so he should once again have all the opportunity he can handle.
