NFL Divisional Round

What a way to start the playoffs! A 5-1 week has us in a great spot as we look ahead to the divisional round.

Spreads+Totals (3-0 for the playoffs)

1. 49ers -10: The Packers shocked the world with their win over Dallas, but the 49ers won’t be so easily fooled. This is still the team to beat in the NFC and probably the NFL, and I expect them to come out strong in their playoff opener.

2. Chiefs/Bills under 45.5: We are blessed with another playoff matchup between these two teams, but as I’ve said many times this year, these teams got here differently than years past.

3. Bucs +6: I’m all about this feel good story the Lions have going right now, but a touchdown is a lot to lay against a team that is clearly humming.

Props (2-1 for the playoffs)

1. Baker Mayfield over 260.5 passing yards: This line splits Baker’s weekly production right in half. He either misses this by a mile, or absolutely crushes it. But the Lions are stiffer against the run, the Bucs are projected to be trailing, and Baker torched the Eagles for 337 just last week, so give me the over.

2. Christian McCaffrey over 17.5 rushing attempts: McCaffrey hits another gear in the postseason and with an extra week of rest I expect him to be ready for a large role against the Packers susceptible rushing defense.

3. Josh Allen under 9.5 rushing attempts: Allen seemed very comfortable in the pocket last week as he picked apart the Steelers. Yes, he had the long run that everyone remembers, but he still only finished with 8 attempts. For the season, he’s only recorded double digit rushing attempts 3 times.
