I’m looking forward to this big match-up in the National League this evening. As of now, these two teams lead the NL Wild Card race, and depending on how it shakes out could end up facing each other in the playoffs.

Bryce Harper is back and has found his power – hitting a couple deep shots recently. He will have his hands full however tonight facing Braves’ ace Max Fried. Not to mention that will be a lefty-on-lefty match-up. The Phillies other big power threat Kyle Schwarber is also a lefty.

Fried is in the conversation for NL Cy Young this season, he has been electric. He has an impressive 2.50 era and 155 Ks on season. He’s tough to hit. Phillies are also starting a lefty in Ranger Suarez, who has a respectable 3.62 era.

The Braves offense can get you in a ton of different ways. Starting with their young stud Acuna Jr, who is still working his way back from last year’s ACL tear, you can tell he’s not quite back to his previous form but he’s still a threat. Dansby Swanson has been a revelation this year, Austin Riley is mashing homers he has 36 on the year. Matt Olson and Ozuna are big time power threats in the lineup.

Saving the best for last – Michael Harris II has been a sensational rookie; he covers all categories on the stat sheet. You can trust me, I have him on my fantasy team.

Injury report: Phillies first baseman Rhys Hoskins is questionable with a hand injury.

My score prediction:

Braves 6 – Phillies 2
